Beginning...
Many moons ago I ran a half marathon (when I was young, free, single...and didn't appreciate it enough!) Back then I didn't seem to need anything but my iPod and my trainers to get me out the door. Since then I have been blessed with two little children and those carefree times are a long-distant memory; getting back into running has been a bit of a struggle to say the least.
I sometimes (well, quite often actually) find it difficult to motivate myself to go out for a run with the million other jobs that never seem to get done, the 2 hours sleep I got last night, the paperwork that needs sorting out...sound familiar??!! So I started to look for a motivator, and luckily for me I found one.
My desire to start running again also just happened to coincide with a little conversation (lecture??) from my Dad about not having life insurance...
Middle...
After this 'conversation', I began to realise that now I was a mummy, protecting my new family (should something happen to me) was of the utmost importance. I needed to put a few things in place, and one of them was life insurance. I started to look around for something that would suit my circumstances, and that's when I came across Vitality. As a runner looking for motivation, Vitality and its rewards seemed to be made for me. I arranged my own policy, and was so enthusiastic about all that it offers (see the Vitality Rewards page) that my friends and family started to show an interest, many of whom are now enjoying their own policies. Although I never (never EVER!) imagined myself being involved in any way with insurance and financial matters, Vitality is different and exciting enough to make me want to spread the word.
Now...
As a result of the support of friends, family, colleagues (past and present) and in some cases almost total strangers, I have now set up Love Active Life and am working for myself as a Vitality Consultant. I have enriched my own life by enjoying the rewards and the peace of mind that Vitality offers me, and am really excited to now be able to share this great thing I've found with others.
